MEC service area has been hit with catastrophic weather conditions. Heavy rain and wind have caused trees and downed powerlines all over our area. We do not have an estimate of when power will be restored but unfortunately, it could be days.

TVA has lost all transmission lines feeding the North Carolina and Roan Mountain substations at this time.
