ATTENTION ROAN MOUNTAIN AND ELK PARK, NC SERVICE AREA CUSTOMERS

Due to the wildfires in Roan Mountain, TN area Mountain Electric and TVA have had to remove key power lines from service to assist the US Forest Service and firefighters in their efforts to contain the fire. This change may require an outage for all Roan Mountain and Elk Park customers on Saturday April 30 at Midnight  (12:00 AM) and last for approximately 2 to 3 hours. If this outage is required, power will be restored as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding of the situation.
