2. We will install the primary protection at your service entrance.
3. You plug in the secondary protection units into your outlets.

Highlights of the product

• 15-year surge product Guarantee by the mfg.
• Lifetime product warranty by mfg.
• Replacement or repair of stove, refrigerator, freezer, washer, dryer, and HVAC unit up to $1,000 per item, per incident.
• Replacement or repair of electrical units plugged into POU units up to $25,000 for 8 receptacle unit, $2,500 for 3-receptacle unit, and $250 for single receptacle unit.
• Warranties are directly from the mfg. and handled directly with the manufacturing.

What does it cost?

• $5 per month and a 3-year lease will get you started. This covers the meter base whole- house protection device. MEC will install. (Meter device remains the property of and maintained by MEC.)
• You can buy the point of use package for only $99. This package includes the individual plug-in units for phone, cable, TV, VCR, and computers, etc. Customer installs plug in devices.
